Law Research Centre
The Law Research Centre (C.R.E.D) is based in the Law Faculty of the Royal University of Law and Economics in Phnom Penh. First organization devoted to research in legal science, the C.R.E.D is aimed at contributing to developing to a real legal doctrine, essential to all legal systems. Sponsored by the French cooperation and by the doctoral schools of the French Universities, Lyon 2 (Lumière) and Lyon 3 (Jean Moulin), the C.R.E.D possesses a powerful team composed of Cambodian experienced jurists, professors and Law professionals, all of whom are specialized in their field.
The C.R.E.D has 3 main missions: - Foster research in Law and publishing books on Khmer Law - Legal training on Khmer Law for Cambodian, international companies and for NGO’s - Providing legal expertises, researches, reports…, upon request of international organisations, NGOs and Government Ministries.
The C.R.E.D institutionalizes a former research activity which publishes the following studies: - R.U.L.E Gazette (from 1995 until now) - Cambodian Constitutional Law 2006 - Introduction to Cambodian Law 2002 (revised edition 2005) - Franco-Khmer lexical at legal terminologies in 1996 (revised edition 2005)

The objectives of the CRED for the years 2008-2009 are:
