English Language Based Bachelor of Law Program (ELBBL)

Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) has the academic program of bachelor degrees in English Language Based Bachelor of Law (ELBBL) and Bachelor of International Relations (B.I.R) study in English.

The English Language Based Bachelor of Law (ELBBL) was founded in 2002 by Rector Yuok Ngoy, LLM University of San Francisco, and Margaret Ryan, JD Stanford University, in response to a widely perceived need for attorneys capable of practicing law in venues where English is the predominant language. By holding classes at night, the ELBBL has been able to tap into the considerable talent pool of attorneys, both national and international, who are writing the nation’s laws, representing interests internationally, and structuring the commercial transactions that fuel the economy. The modest tuition charged by the ELBBL could not support the faculty that has been assembled. The program owes an enormous debt of gratitude to the US State Department which has sent four Fulbright scholars over the years.

Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), Faculty of Public Administration (FPA), is planning to establish a new academic program of bachelor degrees in international relations (B.I.R) that is taught in English. This program is an interdisciplinary major and it is designed to introduce scientific study of international laws, international politics, international economics, diplomacy, and international institutions which it intends to educate the students to develop their academic major in international affairs. Those who earn bachelor’s degrees in international relations can become foreign affairs analysts, foreign affairs specialists, foreign-service officers, intelligence specialists, or diplomats. The program is designed for a period of three years selecting the student who completed successfully a university foundation year program from an accredited university-level institution.
