In the afternoon of April 20, 2026, Prof. Dr. Luy Channa, Rector of the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) and his management team had the honor of hosting a meeting with the delegation from the Australian embassy in Cambodia. The delegation was led by H.E. Derek Yip, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia; Mr Karan Dhamija, First Secretary and head of trade and investment office; and Mr Phala Bun, Trade and Investment Officer.
The discussion concentrated on the further collaborations between the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) and Australian universities. H.E. Derek Yip, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, has offered his support in facilitating future cooperations between RULE and Australian partner universities. Potential areas of collaborations include joint programs, research, teaching, etc. On behalf of the Royal University of Law and Economics, Prof. Dr. Luy Channa sincere thanks H.E. Derek Yip for his support in advancing these partnerships. The meeting concluded with fruitful outcomes in a cordial atmosphere.

Today, December 20, 2025, The Royal University of Law and Economics which has been born for 76 years, since 1949, opened a new chapter by starting the first cohort of doctoral programs from the academic year 2025-2026 onwards. Three students have been successfully selected for doctoral studies in three majors, including Law, Public Administration and Political Science. We hope that students will strive to become global human resources and contribute to the country's sustainable development.

Short-term study visit of students from the Royal University of Law and Economics to Nagoya University (NU) and Nagoya University of Economics (NUE), Japan on October 16-22, 2025. The study tour includes presentations from professors, student presentations, cultural sightseeing, attending the actual hearings of Nagoya Court and the court presentation. We hope that students will use all these experiences to further strengthen their knowledge to serve their better future career. Thanks for NU and NUE for hosting this
